Horror Writer Spotlight: Rebecca Treadway

Here at Bloody Bookish we believe writers are real life superheros.

And horror writers? Another breed entirely.

Our Horror Writer Superhero Spotlight shines the spotlight squarely on the twisted minds who bring you dark literature in all its dastardly forms.

Today’s spotlight shines on Rebecca Treadway. Find out about this enigma, wrapped in a riddle, shrouded in mystery…

Q: What is the name of your alter ego?
A: Giovanna (last name withheld)

Q: Who or what is your nemesis?

A: The American’s “Satan”

Q:  What would be a fitting name for your sidekick?
A: We require no sidekick.   Our organization is an elite group, each acts independently and periodically, we meet to discuss the future…

Q: If you could (or do) have superpowers, describe them.
A: The Unfailed do not divulge strength nor weakness.

Q: How would you conquer the forces of good/evil (depending on your Superhero’s moral affiliation).
A: My intentions at this time, remain a mystery.  The groundwork is laid to ensnare my nemesis, I but wait for the story to unravel.

Q: What would be your ultimate downfall?
A: Universal energies.

More from Rebecca
I’m a writer, artist, and photographer – a fan of dark genre’s. Currently working on debut novel “I Chiang” which is part one of a dark fiction series called “The Unfailed”.   Also working on an anthology of short stories (and possibly novella contained within) titled “The Little Book of Weird”  some tales are “genus” stories related to the Unfailed Universe. Both of which I hope to have out either in November or December.
