Horror Writer Spotlight: Lorelei Bell

Here at Bloody Bookish we believe writers are real life superheros.

And horror writers? Another breed entirely.

Our Horror Writer Superhero Spotlight shines the spotlight squarely on the twisted minds who bring you dark literature in all its dastardly forms.

Today’s spotlight shines on Lorelei Bell. Find out how she plans on conquering the forces of evil with love…

Q: What is the name of your alter ego?
A: It changes with age. But for now we’ll go with Halo.

Q: Who or what is your nemesis?
A: Every dark creep on the planet who would hurt another human. [Oh,
and the guys who walk around with their pants down below their
bum--but that's just me. I never was one into "styles".]

Q:  What would be a fitting name for your sidekick?
A: Drachen. Even the name is yummy, don’t you think?

Q: If you could (or do) have superpowers, describe them.
A: I’m like Buffy, but I can fly.

Q: How would you conquer the forces of good/evil (depending on your Superhero’s moral affiliation).
A: To fall in love with Drachen. He’s really yummy.

  1. Hi, Lorelei. Good to see you here.

Just kidding. I hate that, too. Ask my 17 year old. He’ll testify to this. ;)
